This Association has been built upon a foundation of trust and friendship between two governments and peoples. Our purpose is to promote commercial and cultural exchange between our country and Myanmar.

Although Taiwan is a small country, we have achieved leading global positions in technology, finances, energy, transportation, and many other industries. Myanmar is home to 60 million people and has a land area 19 times greater than that of Taiwan. She holds an abundance of natural resources and her people are faithful in their beliefs and raised with good and honest temperament. Rapid development of commercial and cultural development as well as democracy in both countries means that we have much to learn from each other. These favorable terms for collaboration shall help us become the perfect partners for future commercial and cultural exchanges and endeavors.
